A park guide plans the swan boat ride for 40 people. Each boat can carry 6 people at time. How do you interpret the remainder of 40/6 in this situation so everybody gets a ride?
You can either add an extra boat with the remainder of people which is 4 extra people or you can put 5 people to a boat. 8x5=40 without the remainder. Hope this helps:) ...
